Doctor Who Vs. Spooks, Series 10

Regular series actors Peter Firth, Nicola Walker and Max 
Brown all returned (as Harry Pearce, Ruth Evershed and 
Dimitri Levendis) for the tenth and final season of the 
BAFTA and TRIC award-winning spy drama, which was
 first broadcast on BBC1 in the autumn of 2011.
This six-part series saw the introduction of Sherlock 
actress, Lara Pulver (as new Section D chief, Erin Watts),
the departure of Sharad Latif (analyst Tariq Masood), and
a cameo role for Matthew Macfadyen (ex-MI5 officer Tom 
Quinn) in the finale.
Firth reprised his role of MI5 chief Pearce for the recent 
spin-off film Spooks: The Greater Good, a co-production 
from Kudos and Shine Pictures.
Season ten of Spooks began another repeat run on the 
Sony TV channel last night, and featured another fifteen 
Doctor Who cast and crew connections:

  • Alice Krige (Elena) and Asif Khan (Mohali) both starred in Big Finish's UNIT: Shutdown (2016) as Felicity Lime and Jay Roy respectively - Krige also voiced Dr. Patricia Sawyer for Phantoms of the Deep (2013), and the Queen Mum for The Tenth Doctor Adventures: Death and the Queen
  • William Hope (Coaver) voiced General Tillington for Renaissance of the Daleks (BF, 2007)
  • Chu Omambala (Rashaida) was Major Blake (pictured) in The Christmas Invasion
  • Ben Smith (Jones) was Luke in School Reunion
  • Tommy Campbell (Marine) and Jeff Mash (Glenn) both appeared in Day of the Moon, as Sergeant Ishem and Grant respectively
  • Jeffrey Wickham (Levrov) was Webster in The Reign of Terror: Guests of Madame Guillotine
  • Ray De Haan was a stuntman oThe Idiot's Lantern too
  • Paul Kennington was a stuntman on the four Cybermen episodes of Series 2, and The Doctor's Daughter
  • sound mixer Brian Milliken was sound recordist on The Sontaran Stratagem and The Poison Sky
  • series film editor Jamie Pearson also edited The Eleventh HourThe Vampires of VeniceAmy's ChoiceVincent and the DoctorThe LodgerThe Rebel FleshThe Almost People, Asylum of the Daleks and The Angels Take Manhattan
  • Karl Probert (art director) and James Metcalf (floor runner) both held those posts on An Adventure in Space and Time - Probert also worked on The Doctor's WifeNight Terrors and The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe
  • Robert Edwards was also an ADR mixer on Hide, Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS, The Crimson Horror, Nightmare in Silver and The Name of the Doctor
