Doctor Who Vs. Inspector Morse, Series 7

The seventh and final full season of this classic
crime drama series (comprised of three mysteries) originally aired on ITV in the winter of 1993.
John Thaw, Kevin Whately, and James Grout again
portrayed the Oxford-based detectives of Thames
Valley CID, Morse and Lewis, and their boss Chief
Superintendent Strange. This series earned a
second Best Drama award from BAFTA, and Thaw
won his third Best Actor prize.
This run was followed by five occasional feature-length specials, and the series concluded in 2000
with the death of Morse, but the character returned
in the prequel series, Endeavour. Shaun Evans has
played Morse since 2012, whilst Whately continues
to play Lewis in the long-running spin-off show.
The serials (all original screenplays) concluded
another repeat run on ITV3 last night, and featured
