ength period crime dramas, first shown
in December 2003 and April 2004.
The characters played by Hugh Fraser,
Philip Jackson and Pauline Moran (Captain
Hastings, Inspector Japp and Miss Lemon)
were absent from all the mysteries (from
here to the penultimate twelfth series).
Another repeat run of the ninth season
began in ITV Encore last night - and
featured Paul McGann, Geoffrey 
Beevers (both in Sad Cypress as Dr.
Peter Lord and Seddon) and twenty-
two other Doctor Who cast and crew connections:

Five Little Pigs (UK TX: December 14 2003/Published 1942)
  • Julie Cox (Elsa) voiced Big Finish companion Mary Shelley for The Company of Friends: Mary's Story (2009), The Silver Turk, The Witch from the Well and Army of Death (all 2011)
  • Rachael Stirling (Caroline) played Ada Gillyflower in The Crimson Horror, and voiced Demesne Furze for Trail of the White Worm (BF, 2012), Adelaine Dutemps for Dark Eyes 4: The Monster of Montmartre (BF, 2015), and Jill Meadows for Technophobia (BF, 2016)

  • Jason Gill was also costume assistant on Space, Time and all fourteen episodes from A Christmas Carol to The Wedding of River Song, then was costume designer on Death is the Only Answer
