Doctor Who Vs. The Avengers, Series 3

This cult British fantasy show returned to the ITV
network in the autumn of 1963, and again starred
Patrick Macnee and Honor Blackman as spies John
Steed and Cathy Gale.
The duo even recorded the novelty song, Kinky Boots
(1964 and reissued in 1990), and Blackman left the
series at the end of this run to play Pussy Galore in
the third James Bond film, Goldfinger.
Future Doctor Who script writers Malcolm Hulke
Terrance Dicks and John Lucarotti again provided screenplays here.
Another repeat run of the third, twenty-six part season began on the True Entertainment last night - it featured future BBC director, Barry Letts (a former actor, here as Oliver in The Wringer), Anneke Wills (pictured
