Doctor Who Vs. Law & Order: UK, Series 3

Regular series actors Bradley Walsh (as DS Ronnie Brooks), Jamie Bamber (DS Matt Devlin), Dame 
Harriet Walter (DI Natalie Chandler), Ben Daniels
(James Steel), Bill Paterson (George Castle), and 
Freema Agyeman (Alesha Phillips) all returned 
for the third series of the British spin-off of Dick 
Wolf's Law & Order
All seven cases here were again based on scripts 
from the parent programme.
Originally shown in the autumn of 2010, the season 
began another repeat run on ITV3 last night, and 
featured twenty-two further Doctor Who cast and 
crew connections:

Broken 
(TX: September 9 2010/based on Killerz, 1999)
  • Isla Blair (DPP Hopley here and Series 4: ID) was Lady Isabella Fitzwilliam in The King's Demons, and voiced Paula for Big Finish's Exotron (2007)
  • Pippa Nixon (Kelly) voiced Joanna Nash for Static (BF, 2017)
  • Bradley Ford (Reid) was Fleming in Into the Dalek and Dark Water
  • Ray Emmet Brown (Stall) voiced 'No. 16' for House of Blue Fire (BF, 2011)
Hounded (TX: September 16/based on Mad Dog, 1997)
  • Neve McIntosh (Cassie) played a trio of Silurians - firstly the warrior twins Alaya (pictured) and Restac (in The Hungry Earth and Cold Blood), then the recurring character of Madame Vastra (introduced in A Good Man Goes to War) and later seen in The Crimson Horror, the Prequel shorts (The Great DetectiveVastra Investigates and The Battle of Demons Run: Two Days Later), and Deep Breath 
  • David Annen (Hale) was Peter Brachacki in An Adventure in Space and Time
  • Stewart Harwood made his TV debut as an uncredited Daffodil Man in (episode 3 of) Terror of the Autons

  • Rupert Graves (Smith) was John Riddell in Dinosaurs on a Spaceship
  • Amanda Root (Patricia) voiced Madeleine Fairweather for The Girl Who Never Was (BF, 2007)
  • Gary Powell (Ellis) was Dev Ashton in 42
  • Sophie Turner (Librarian) was the Vicar in The Family of Blood
Confession (TX: September 30/based on Bad Faith, 1995)
  • James Strong (here, Series 4: Help and Series 6: Immune) also directed The Impossible PlanetThe Satan Pit, Daleks in Manhattan, Evolution of the DaleksVoyage of the DamnedPartners in Crime and Planet of the Dead
  • Struan Rodger (Browne) provided the voice of the Face of Boe in New Earth and Gridlock, and was Clayton in The Woman Who Lived
  • Tim Chipping (PC Barr) voiced both Grigory [Rasputin] and the Dahensa for The Wanderer (BF, 2012), and both Constable Wolsey and Mandrake for The Widow's Assassin (2014)
  • Martha Cope (Sergeant Morrow) was the Controller in Bad Wolf, and voiced Captain Tanya Oswin in The Nowhere Place (BF, 2006), then Talia in 100: Bedtime Story (BF, 2007)

  • Paul Chequer (Atwell) voiced a Servo Robot for Serpent Crest: Tsar Wars (AudioGo, 2011)

  • Rod Arthur (Dawson) was Mr. Parsons in School Reunion

  • Hettie Macdonald also directed Blink, The Magician's Apprentice and The Witch's Familiar
  • David Yelland (Thompson) voiced Walter Pritchett for Big Finish's Doom Coalition (new for 2015)
  • Andrew Dunn (Douglas) voiced Max for Scream of the Shalka

  • Chrissie Cotterill (Jean) was Madame Vernet in Vincent and the Doctor
