Doctor Who Vs. Carry On Don't Lose Your Head

The thirteenth entry in the iconic British film franchise was the first Carry On feature produced by the Rank Organisation and was not
planned as part of the series.
Both Don't Lose Your Head and
the next film, Follow That Camel
were originally promoted without
the Carry On prefix.
Series veterans Sid James (as Sir
Rodney Ffing, the Black Fingernail)
Kenneth Williams (Camembert),
Jim Dale (Lord Darcy Pue), Joan
Sims (Desiree), Peter Butterworth (Bidet), and Charles Hawtrey (Duke de Pommefrite) were joined here by
French actress Dany Robin.
Released in late 1966 as a parody of Baroness Orczy's The Scarlet Pimpernel, the comedy was shown again on ITV3 today - it featured nine Doctor Who

  • Richard Shaw (Captain) was Lobos in The Space Museum, Cross in Frontier in Space, and Lakh in Underworld
