Doctor Who Vs. Spooks, Series 1

This popular BBC spy drama began in the spring of 2002 with a six-part series, endured for another nine seasons, and even spawned a spin-off show for BBC3 (Spooks: Code 9) the feature film, Spooks: The Greater Good (2014), and an interactive video game.
The title of the show is a colloquialism for spies, and Spooks originally aired in
North America as MI5. Created by David Wolstencroft and produced by Kudos,
Spooks centred on a fictional group of MI5 officers based at the service's
London HQ, Thames House.
The programme starred Matthew Macfadyen (as Tom Quinn), Keeley Hawes
(Zoe Reynolds), David Oyelowo (Danny Hunter), Hugh Simon (Malcolm Wynn-
Jones), Rory MacGregor (Colin Wells), Jenny Agutterr (Tessa Phillips), Graeme
Mearns (Jed Kelley), and Peter Firth (Harry Pearce) was the only actor to
appear in every series.
The death of Helen Flynn, played by Lisa Faulkner, in only the second episode attracted controversy and the highest number of complaints against the
Corporation that year.
