Doctor Who Vs. Silent Witness, Series 21

The twenty-first season of the popular crime drama concluded on BBC One last night, and again starred Emilia Fox (now a veteran of 136 episodes since 2004) and David Caves as doctors Nikki Alexander and Jack Hodgson.
The Home Office forensic pathologists (based in London's Lyell Centre) were 
again joined by Clarissa Mullery and Dr. Thomas Chamberlain, played by Liz 
Carr and Richard Lintern. Another series is planned for next year.
The programme, which began in 1996, has been broadcast in over 200 
territories, and the latest five, two-part mysteries featured a total of
twenty-six Doctor Who cast and crew connections:

Moment of Surrender (TX: January 8 & 9)

  • Alan David (Porter) was Gabriel Sneed in The Unquiet Dead, and voiced Castellan Kanteer for The War Doctor 4 (2017)
  • David Bamber (Hawke) was Captain Quell in Mummy on the Orient Express, and voiced Emperor Constantine for The Council of Nicaea (BF, 2005), and both Colonel Ulrik and Whitmore for The Four Doctors (2010)
  • Kelly Hunter (Gwen) was the Shadow Architect in The Stolen Earth and The Magician's Apprentice

  • Belinda McGinley (Karen) was a stunt performer on Amy's Choice and The Girl Who Waited
  • Philip Buck (Lawyer) made his TV debut in The Day of the Doctor as Arcadian Father
  • Richard Price (Hospital Extra) was Guest in The Runaway Bride and The Lazarus Experiment, Passerby in Partners in Crime, Takran Soldier in  The Doctor's Daughter, Cyberman in The Doctor Falls, and Shadow Kin in Class
