Series regulars Trevor Eve, Sue Johnston, Wil Johnson, and Tara

Fitzgerald all returned (as Superintendent Boyd, Dr. Foley, DI

Jordan, and Dr. Lockhart) for season eight of this award-winning

BBC crime drama.

Magdalene 26 saw the departure of French actress Félicité Du Jeu

(DC Stella Goodman) after three years service, when the Cold Case

detective was shot and killed. Newcomer Stacey Roca joined the

programme in the same case, although her role (as DS Katrina

Howard) only lasted for this eight-part series.

Another repeat run of the penultimate season (first shown in the

autumn of 2009) began on Drama last night - it featured a total
