Doctor Who Vs. Silent Witness, Series 11

The eleventh season of BBC1's award-
winning crime drama (first shown in the
summer of 2007) saw the return of William
Gaminara, Tom Ward, and Emilia Fox, as
 Home Office pathologists, doctors Leo

Doctor Who Vs. Casualty, Series 2

While the inaugural series of
BBC1's medical drama had
been filmed in London, a
permanent base for the set 
had been located in Bristol.
However, publicity for the
start of the next season was accompanied by comments
from producer Geraint Morris
 that there would be no further instalments, stating that the
programme "should end on
a high after thirty episodes."
Following the events of Cry 
For Help (in which paramedic 
Sandra Mute was stabbed), the show regularly gained more than ten
million viewers and subsequently, a secure future - Casualty has now endured for thirty-seven years.
The majority of the regular cast remained unchanged - joining the
show here were Maureen O'Brien (as administrator Elizabeth
Straker), Helena Little (Dr. Mary Tomlinson), Kate Hardie, Eddie
Nestor (student nurses Karen O'Malley and Cyril James), Ella
Wilder and Geoffrey Leesley (paramedics Shirley Franklin and
Keith Cotterill).

Doctor Who Vs. Manhunt, Series 1

This factual based crime drama focused
on the investigation led by DCI Colin
Sutton (portrayed by Martin Clunes) in
the hunt for the killer of Milly Dowler,
 Amelie Delagrange, and Marsha
McDonnell. Levi Bellfield (depicted by
Celyn Jones) was eventually convicted
of their murders in 2008. Sutton later
reinvestigated the serial murders of Fred
and Rose West for ITV, whilst a second
series of Manhunt aired in September 2021.

Doctor Who Vs. Silent Witness, Series 6

The sixth season of this popular crime drama
returned to BBC1 in the autumn of 2002, and 
again starred Amanda
Burton as Home Office pathologist, Professor
Sam Ryan. She was
now joined by William Gaminara and Tom
Ward, as doctors Leo 
Dalton and Harry Cunningham.
Gaminara appeared
in over a hundred instalments until his character was killed off in the
finale of the sixteenth series, whilst Ward left the programme the year
before. A repeat run of the eight-part season began on Drama last
night - it featured a total of thirty-eight Doctor Who cast and crew
