Doctor Who Vs. Campion, Series 2

The third television adaptations of the classic 
crime stories of Margery Louise Allingham 
were originally transmitted on BBC1 in 1989
and 1990, and starred Peter Davison (as 
the titular sleuth), Brian Glover, and Andrew
Burt.
Allingham (1904-1966) penned eighteen
Campion novels and twenty short stories
between 1929 and 1965, whilst her final
work (Cargo of Eagleswas written by her
 husband, Philip Youngman Carter and 
published posthumously in 1968.
Following Carter's death, an unfinished
Allingham manuscript was completed by
Mike Ripley and released in 2014 as Mr.
Campion's Farewell.
A repeat run of the second, eight-part
series continued on Drama today - it featured Geoffrey Bayldon,
and a total of thirty-seven Doctor Who cast and crew connections:
