Carnival Films, first show in
the winter of 1995/96. Known
in America as A Holiday For
Murder, the festive adventure
was published in 1938. BBC
Radio 4 dramatised the case in
2005, with Peter Sallis as Poirot.
Hickory Dickory Dock was issued
in 1955 (Hickory Dickory Death
in the US). Murder on the Links,
Christie's third novel, appeared
in 1923 and was also adapted for radio in 1980, starring John Moffat as the Belgian. Dumb Witness
(issued in 1937) was based on The Incident of the Dog's Bell, a lost
short story only released in 2009 - a radio version was broadcast in
2006. A repeat run of the feature-length mysteries began on ITV3
today - they featured a total of seventeen Doctor Who cast and crew
connections:
