Bleasdale, Kwame Kwei Armah, Zita Sattar, and Will Mellor all returned
for the sixteenth season of BBC One's long-running medical drama -
shown from September 2001 to June 2002.
Joining the programme here were Dan Rymer (as Nurse Dillon Cahill),
Louise Brealey (student nurse Roxy Bird), Christine Adams (nurse
Melanie Phillips), Christopher Colquhoun (registrar Simon Kaminski),
Kelly Harrison (technician Nikki Marshall), Martina Laird (paramedic
Comfort Jones), Judy Loe (CEO Jan Goddard), Christine Stephen Daly
(SHO Lara Stone), Simon MacCorkindale (Dr. Harry Harper), and Emily
Dormer (receptionist Gilly). Robert Gwilym, Ian Kelsey, Jan Anderson,
and Ben Keaton all left during this year.
A repeat run of the series (now extended to forty episodes) began
on U&Drama today - it featured Sylvester McCoy, Noel Clarke,
Jo Martin, and a total of forty-four other Doctor Who cast and crew
