Doctor Who Vs. The World's End

This British comedy sci-fi film was released
by Universal in 2013, and was co-written
by lead actor Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright. The production began life as
the screenplay Crawl (penned by Wright in
1995) and was the final instalment in the
Cornetto trilogy which opened with Shaun
of the Dead in 2004, followed by Hot Fuzz
(2007) all co-starred Nick Frost, and the
actors later collaborated in PaulThe
 Adventures of TintinTruth Seekers and
Slaughterhouse Rulez.

Doctor Who Vs. Wycliffe, Series 4

Jack Shepherd returned as WJ Burley's Cornish
detective for the fourth and penultimate season (first broadcast in 1997) of HTV's popular crime drama, and

Doctor Who Vs. Broadchurch, Series 1

This multi-award winning crime drama from Kudos
and Shine production companies was chosen to
launch the ITV Encore channel in June 2014, and
repeat run began on ITV3 last night.
Chris Chibnall devised Broadchurch after his
work on ITV1's long-running legal drama, Law &
Order: UK (2009 to 2014) motivated him to
expand his storytelling by asking what happens
"to [the victim's families after] they left the
screen?" Chibnall also scripted two sequel series
for ITV then Gracepointthe ten-part American
remake which premiered on Fox in October 2014.
Here, newly promoted DI Alec Hardy (played by
David Tennant) and DS Ellie Miller (Olivia
Colman) investigate the discovery of 11 year old
Danny Latimer's body at the foot of cliffs on the
beach at Broadchurch - a death that profoundly
affects the small seaside community in Dorset.
This eight-part series first aired over consecutive
