UKTV's newest in-house period crime drama (a co-production form Eagle

Eye Drama and Happy Duck Films) was created and written by Mark

Gatiss, and was filmed in Belgium in 2024 - Antwerp doubled for

Archangel Lane, WC2.

A repeat run of the six-part series began on U&Alibi last night - the

cast was led by Gatiss (as the titular antiquarian), Polly Walker

(Trottie), Elliot Levey (DI Bliss), Connor Finch (Jack), Buket Komar

Doctor Who Vs. Luther, Series 1

This British psychological drama series was

conceived and scripted by Booker Prize

nominee and Emmy award winner Neil

Cross, and starred London-born actor Idris

Elba as the eponymous detective, maverick

DCI John Luther. Elba received Golden Globe

 and Emmy Awards nominations for his role

 here, and was joined by Indira Varma (Zoe

Doctor Who Vs. Endeavour, Series 1

Studios, this period crime drama was devised as

the prequel to the acclaimed series Inspector

Morse, which ran from 1987 to 2000 and earned

six BAFTA awards. Like Morse and its sequel

series, Lewis (2000 to 2015), Endeavour is set in

Oxford.

Shaun Evans now portrayed the young Endeavour

Morse (created by Colin Dexter), who began his

career as a Detective Constable with the City Police

CID at Cowley in 1965.

Following a successful pilot episode (renamed

Overture with the rebranding of ITVX), the first

full season was originally broadcast in the spring
