Doctor Who Vs. Grantchester, Series 7

The seventh series of ITV Studios'
period crime drama (based on The
 Grantchester Mysteries book series
from James Runcie) was shown in
the spring of 2022 - Tom Brittney,
Robson Green, Al Weaver, and Tessa
 Peake Jones all returned.
A repeat run of the six-part season
began on ITV3 last night - it featured
Jemma Redgraveand total of
thirteen Doctor Who cast and crew connections:

  • Philip Buck (Fitzgerald) was an Arcadian in The Day of the Doctor
  • Emma Cunniffe (Maude) was Claire Thompson in Night Terrors, and voiced Caleera for Scenes from Her LifeThe GiftThe Sonomancer (all 2016), Songs of Love, The Side of the Angels and Stop the Clocks (all 2017)
