Doctor Who Vs. Messiah, Series 3

This dark thriller, from BBC Northern

Ireland, was another original screenplay

from Lizzie Mickery - her second sequel

to Messiah was based on Boris Starling's

1999 crime novel.

The drama saw the return of Ken Stott,

Neil Dudgeon, and Frances Grey.

First shown over two consecutive nights

in August 2004, the two-part case (sub-

titled The Promise) featured twenty-one
