Doctor Who Vs. Last Christmas

This London-set romantic comedy

was named after Wham!'s iconic

festive song of 1984 (which finally topped the singles chart in 2023),

and was inspired by the music of

George Michael. Here, Emilia Clarke is Christmas shop worker Kate, who

falls in love with mysterious charity volunteer, Tom, played by Henry

Golding.

Released by Universal in late 2019,

crime drama (originally broadcast

in the autumn of 2023) was des-
