Five Little Pigs (released in 1942) and
The Hollow (1946) were dramatised by
Christie into stage plays - the former retitled Go Back for Murder. Poirot was
omitted from both productions, whilst
Sad Cypress was published in 1940.
Death on the Nile (issued in 1937) had been adapted by Mersham for EMI Films in 1978, whilst Fox's remake was released in late 2020.
A repeat run of the ninth season continued on ITV3 today - the mysteries
featured Paul McGann, Geoffrey Beevers (both in Sad Cypress), and
a total of and twenty-five Doctor Who cast and crew connections:
