was based on the 1984 novel by Frederick Forsyth. Michael Caine
led the cast as John Preston, the
MI5 officer tasked with prevent-
ing a Russian plot to detonate a
nuclear bomb in the UK. Pierce
Brosnan was KGB agent,
Petrofsky.
Released by Rank in 1987, the
thriller was shown on Legend today - it also featured Ray McAnally, Ian
Richardson, Ned Beatty, and fifteen Doctor Who cast and crew
