Doctor Who Vs. Silent Witness, Series 24

The twenty-fourth season of BBC1's
evergreen crime drama was origin-

2004) and David Caves as doctors
Nikki Alexander and Jack Hodgson.
The Home Office forensic patholo-
gists (based in London's Lyell

The programme's 25th anniversary series saw the return of Amanda Burton as Sam Ryan, and was teased here.

Doctor Who Vs. Marple: Nemesis

Following an appearance in
The Curse of Fatal Death,
Grant depicted an iteration
of the Ninth 
Doctor for
Scream of the Shalka
The third season of ITV Studio's period crime
drama concluded on New Year's Day 2009 with
this mystery, loosely based on Agatha Christie's
final Miss Marple novel (published in 1971 after
serialisation in Woman's Realm).
Geraldine McEwan's final appearance in the title
role originally aired in the Mystery! strand for PBS
in July 2007. McEwan (1932-2015) was succeeded
by Julia McKenzie (born 1941) for the next eleven
cases. The whodunnit was repeated on ITV3 today
- it featured Richard E Grant, Ruth Wilson, George
Cole, Amanda Burton, and twelve Doctor Who cast

Doctor Who Vs. Casualty, Series 4

Regular series actors Derek Thompson, Brenda Fricker, Cathy Shipton, Eddie Nestor, Geoffrey Leesley and Susan Franklyn all returned for the fourth season of BBC One's long-running medical drama.
Joining the programme here
