The Inspector Rebus books are a series ofpolice procedural stories by Scottish author
Ian Rankin (born 1960), that centre on the investigations of DI John Rebus, and are set
mainly in Edinburgh.

John Hannah portrayed the detective in the
first season, before being replaced by Messiah

Michelle Gomez, Mark Bonnar, and a total of nineteen other
