Doctor Who Vs. James Bond, Part 18: Tomorrow Never Dies

The eighteenth entry in the
James Bond franchise, and the
second to star Pierce Brosnan
as Ian Fleming's British secret
agent, Commander Bond, was released by United Artists and
Eon Productions in 1997.
Since no Fleming stories were
left to adapt, this film was the
first to bear no relation to the
writer's estate, an original
screenplay was provided by
Goldeneye writer, Bruce Feirstein. The title was inspired by the Beatles' Revolver track,
Tomorrow Never Knows.
Judi Dench and Desmond Llewelyn both returned to their long-running
roles as M and Q. The feature was shot on location in France, Thailand,
Germany, Mexico and England with interiors filmed at the custom-built
007 Stage (opened in 1976) at Pinewood studios. The theme song by
Sheryl Crow was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Grammy award.
