returned for the sixth series of
the London-based spin-off of
Dick Wolf's Law & Order.
Paul Nicholls joined the drama
here as new DS Sam Casey,
to investigate the murder of
Brooks' previous partner, Matt Devlin. Freema Agyeman and
Harriet Walter both then left the programme after six years -
Alesha Phillips was promoted to
Senior CPS prosecutor, and DI
Chandler retired from the Met.
All seven cases (originally shown in the winter of 2012) were again based on scripts from the American
parent show. A repeat run of the season began on ITV3 last night - it
featured Adjoa Andoh, Jessica Gunning, and a total of thirty-five
