Released in 1964, the
comedy (now considered one of the best in the early run) was shown on
Talking Pictures TV today - it featured Bernard Cribbins (his second of
four series appearances), and fourteen Doctor Who cast connections:
- Windsor (Daphne here; Sandra in Carry On Doctor; Babs in Carry On Camping; Goldie in Carry On Again Doctor; Various in Carry On Christmas, Carry On Again Christmas, Carry On Stuffing, Carry On Laughing, That's Carry On; Bettina in Carry On Henry; Susan in Carry On Matron; Sadie in Carry On Abroad; Hope in Carry On Girls; Harriet in Carry On Dick) reprised her role of EastEnders' Peggy Mitchell for a cameo in Army of Ghosts

- Jane [Katherine] Lumb (Guard) and Virginia Tyler (Girl) both appeared in Carry On Cleo, then were Thals in Dr. Who and the Daleks
- Tutte [Isak Samuel] Lemkow (Man) was Kuiju in Marco Polo, Ibrahim in The Crusade (4), and Cyclops in The Myth Makers
- Fred [Thomas] Haggerty (Assistant) was a stuntman on The Time Meddler (2)
- George Curtis (Guard) was a Firing Squad Soldier in The War Games (1)
