Doctor Who Vs. Invasion

This low-budget British sci-fi film was one
of the last double features to be made at
Merton Park Studios. Roger Marshall's
script was based on a storyline from
Robert Holmes, who later re-used
elements for Spearhead from Space
Here, female aliens crash land in woods
outside London. The injured humanoid
Lystrians are taken to a rural hospital
where they raise a forcefield.
Released by Anglo-Amalgamated in late
1965, the thriller was shown on Talking
Pictures TV today - it featured Edward
