Doctor Who Vs. Endeavour, Series 9

Shaun Evans returned as Colin Dexter's
eponymous detective in the ninth and final
series of Mammoth Screen/Masterpiece's
acclaimed Inspector Morse prequel drama.
Followed by the documentary Morse and
the Last Endeavour, the season (first
 shown in early 2023) again starred Roger
Allam, Anton Lesser, Sean Rigby, James
Bradshaw, Sara Vickers, Caroline O'Neill,
Abigail Thaw, and Jack Laskey. A repeat
run of the three cases began on ITV3 last
night - they featured a total of seventeen
