later. Zoe Wanamker reprised her role of
Ariadne Oliver.
Mrs. McGinty's Dead (published in 1952)
was the second adaptation of the book,
and followed MGM's Murder Most Foul in
1964. Radio 4 Extra aired their treatment
(with John Moffat as Poirot) in 2012.
Appointment With Death (issued in 1938)
was staged in the West End in 1945, the
film version (which starred Peter Ustinov)
was released in 1988. Both Cat Among the Pigeons (1959) and Third Girl (1966),
were dramatised for the first time here.
A repeat run of the eleventh season continued on ITV3 today - it
featured Mark Gatiss (pictured right), Miranda Raison, and a total
of thirty-three Doctor Who cast and crew connections:
