Doctor Who Vs. Casualty, Series 6

Series regulars Derek Thompson,
Cathy Shipton, Ian Bleasdale, Nigel
Le Vaillant, Robson Green, Mamta Kaash, Patrick Robinson and Caroline
Webster returned for the fifth season
of BBC One's long-running medical
drama.
Joining the programme here were
Maureen Beattie (as staff nurse
Sandra Nicholl), Adie Allen (student
nurse Kelly Liddle), Anne Kristen (receptionist Norma Sullivan), and
Maria Friedman (social worker Trish
Baynes). Both Allen and Friedman
had left the show by the series'
conclusion, whilst Green and Kaash
chose to depart after three and two
 years service respectively.
A repeat run of the series (origin-
ally broadcast from September to

Doctor Who Vs. Juggernaut

This British thriller was director
Richard Lester's attempt to exploit
the trend in Hollywood disaster
movies, and was inspired by real
events aboard the QE2 in May 1972.
Royal Marines from the SBS para-
chuted onto the ship during a bomb
hoax.
The production's location filming was
mainly shot onboard TS Hamburg
(which doubled as cruise liner SS
Britannic) in the North Sea.
Released by United Artists in 1974,
the cast was led by Richard Harris,
Anthony Hopkins, David Hemmings,
Omar Sharif, and Ian Holm.

Doctor Who Vs. Campion, Series 2

The third television adaptations of the classic 
crime stories of Margery Louise Allingham 
were originally transmitted on BBC1 in 1989
and 1990, and starred Peter Davison (as 
the titular sleuth), Brian Glover, and Andrew
Burt.
Allingham (1904-1966) penned eighteen
Campion novels and twenty short stories
between 1929 and 1965, whilst her final
work (Cargo of Eagleswas written by her
 husband, Philip Youngman Carter and 
published posthumously in 1968.
Following Carter's death, an unfinished
Allingham manuscript was completed by
Mike Ripley and released in 2014 as Mr.
Campion's Farewell.
