Doctor Who Vs. Strike: The Silkworm

This thriller closed the first season of
the Bronte Films drama based on the
crime book series by Harry Potter author
JK Rowling, written under the pseudonym
of Robert Galbraith. Plans to adapt the
Strike books (published from 2013) were announced in late 2014, and Rowling
acted as an executive producer.
Londoner Tom Burke and Manchester
-born Holliday Grainger were cast as
Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott.
The Silkworm (first broadcast on BBC1
in September 2017) followed The
Cuckoo's CallingCareer of Evil, aired
in early 2018, whilst Lethal White was
shown in August 2020, and Troubled
Blood premiered in December 2022.
A repeat run of the two-part mystery concluded on Drama last night
- it featured eighteen Doctor Who cast and crew connections:

Doctor Who Vs. Casualty, Series 12

Series regulars Derek Thompson, Ian Bleasdale, Sorcha Cusack, Julia 
Watson, Jason Merrells, Gray O'Brien, Sue Devaney, Lisa Coleman, Donna 
Alexander, Jonathan Kerrigan and Peter Birch all returned for the twelfth 
season of BBC One's long-running medical drama.
Joining the programme here were Peter Guinness (as manager Elliot
Matthews), Rebecca Lacey (SHO Georgina Woodman), Paterson Jospeh
 (nurse Mark Grace), Claire Goose (nurse Tina Seabrook), Barbara Marten
 (nurse Eve Montgomery), Rebecca Wheatley (receptionist Amy Howard), 
Vincenzo Pellegrino (porter Derek Sunderland). Brenda Fricker, Cathy 
Shipton, Patrick Robinson and Clive Mantle all reprised their roles for 
the two-part finale which saw Charlie and Baz marry. Cusack, Watson, 
O'Brien, Devaney, Birch and Guinness had all left the show by the
series' conclusion.
A repeat run of the twenty-six part series (originally broadcast from
September 1997 to February 1998) began on Drama today - it
