Set in 1984, this British drama
sees Sir Matt Busby (portrayed
by Brian Cox) come out of
retirement to coach the Kersal
Reds. Haunted by the Munich
disaster, the legendary football
manager leads the young team,
captained by tearaway George
Gallagher (Jack Smith), to
victory in the Manchester Junior
Cup.
Filmed in Manchester in late
2011, the production premiered
at the Zurich Film Festival in
2013, but was only released in
July 2014. Shown on BBC2
today, Believe also featured Toby Stephens, and these nine Doctor Who
