Doctor Who Vs. Carry On Regardless

The fifth production from the popular Carry On
stable was released in early 1961, and told the
story of the hapless Helping Hands agency.
By now a regular company was established
 with actors Sid James (pictured as Handy),
Kenneth Williams, Kenneth Connor, Charles
Hawtrey, Joan Sims, Hattie Jacques, Esme
Cannon, and Bill Owen all having appeared in
previous titles.
Liz Fraser (1930-2018) and Fenella Fielding
(1927-2018) made their series debuts here.
Shown on Film4 today, the comedy featured
Stanley Unwin, Joan Hickson, and eleven
