series (loosely based on Ian
Fleming's 1965 thriller) was the
last film co-produced by Harry
Saltzman, and the resultant
legal wrangle over the writer's
estate delayed production of the
next instalment, The Spy Who
Loved Me (1977).
This film was shot on location in
Hong Kong, Thailand and Macau
with interiors filmed at Pinewood studios, and Lulu provided the title theme song.

assignment, released in late 1974 - it featured Christopher Lee (as the eponymous assassin, Scaramanga), Britt Ekland, Maud Adams, and ten
