Doctor Who Vs. Grantchester, Series 3

ITV Studios' period crime drama (a

Lovely Day, Masterpiece and Shine

Group co-production) was based on

James Runcie's The Grantchester

Mysteries - it was shown from April

to May 201. Vicar Sidney Chambers

(played by James Norton) again

joined forces with Robson Green's

DI Geordie Keating, to solve cases in

the titular Cambridgeshire village of

the 1950s.

Morven Christie, Tess Peake-Jones,

and Al Weaver also reprised their

respective roles as Amanda, Mrs.

Maguire, and curate Leonard Finch.

A repeat run of the six-part season began on ITV3 last night - it featured

Peter Davison, and a total of thirteen
