Doctor Who Vs. Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The second part of Star Wars

sequel trilogy (also known as

Episode VIII) was written, and

directed by Rian Johnson. The

sci-fi epic was announced after

the Walt Disney Company's

acquisition of Lucasfilm in 2012,

and saw no input from franchise

creator, George Lucas. 

The ensemble cast comprised

Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Peter

Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, Frank

Oz from the original trilogy, and

recent series newcomers Daisy

Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, and Andy Serkis. Released in late 2017, this

production became the highest grossing film of the year - it was followed

by Rise of the Skywalker in 2019. Shown on ITV2 tonight, the adven-

2011, aged 84. In the course of his

life he became one of the most

celebrated radio and TV person-

alities in Britain, and used his

extensive charity work to place

himself at the very heart of the

most important institutions in our

society.

This drama examines how he was

able to hide in plain sight, using

his position to commit countless

serious sexual offences, many

against minors, and how the

voices of so many were ignored

and silenced.

What follows is a dramatisation

based on detailed research, published accounts and extensive

interviews with survivors of his crimes.

Steve Coogan depicted Savile in ITV Studios' controversial four-part

drama, which continued on BBC1 last night - it also featured Gemma
