Doctor Who Vs. Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased), Part 2

ITC Entertainment produced a single,
twenty-six part season of this British
TV fantasy which starred Mike Pratt and
Kenneth Cope as private detectives Jeff Randall and Marty Hopkirk. Only LWT
screened the whole run.
The programme was broadcast as My
Partner the Ghost in America, and
entitled The Phantom Detective for
Spanish TV. Thirty years later, Working
Title Films remade the series for BBC1,
and cast comedians Bob Mortimer and
Vic Reeves as the eponymous partners.
The Syfy channel announced a planned
revival in 2010. A repeat run of the
series concluded on Great! TV (formerly Sony Pictures TV) last night - these final thirteen instalments (originally shown from late 1969 to March
1970) featured Annette Andre (as Jeannie), and a total of fifty-one
