DS Sam Casey, to investigate
the murder of Brooks' previous
partner, Matt Devlin. Freema Agyeman and Harriet Walter
both then left the programme
after six years - Alesha Phillips
was promoted to Senior CPS
prosecutor, and DI Natalie
Chandler retired from the Met.
All seven cases (originally shown in the winter of 2012) were again
based on scripts from the American parent show. A repeat run of the
season concluded on ITV3 last night - it featured Adjoa Andoh, and
a total of thirty-one Doctor Who cast and crew connections:
