Doctor Who Vs. James Bond, Part 12: For Your Eyes Only

ITV4's lastest Bond season
continued last night with Roger

Moore's fifth assignment (the
twelfth in the franchise) as the

famous spy. Released in 1981,

the film took its title from Ian
Fleming's Bond anthology

(published in 1960), and

contained elements from the

short stories For Your Eyes Only and Risico. 

The production was shot on

location in the Bahamas, Italy, Spain, Greece, and the North Sea, with interiors filmed at Pinewood studios. The theme song by Sheena Easton (nominated for an Oscar

and a Golden Globe) replaced original choice Blondie. The film

featured Topol (pictured left), and twenty-three Doctor Who cast

and crew connections:

• [Clement] Graham Crowden (First Sea Lord) was Soldeed in The Horns of Nimon
