Doctor Who Vs. Wycliffe, Series 5

Leeds-born actor Jack Shepherd returned as WJ Burley's Cornish detective for the fifth and

final season of HTV's popular crime drama,

first shown in the spring of 1998. Shepherd

 also directed two episodes, and was again

joined by Jimmy Yuill, Helen Masters, Tim Wylton, Michael Attwell, Lynne Farleigh, and

Charlie Hayes.

A repeat run of the six-part series (original screenplays) began on ITV3 last night - it

featured a total of twenty-three Doctor Who
