Jack Shepherd returned as WJ Burley's Cornish
detective for the fourth and penultimate season
(first broadcast in 1997) of HTV's popular crime

drama, and was again joined by Jimmy Yuill,

 Helen Masters, Tim Wylton, Charlie Hayes, and Lynne Farleigh. Michael Attwell joined the cast

here as DCC Stevens.

A repeat run of the nine-part series (which

included a Christmas special) began on ITV3
