Doctor Who Vs. Return of the Jedi

The Star Wars franchise continued
in 1983 with this sci-fi adventure
(known canonically as Episode VI),
and was subsequently followed by the prequel trilogy (Episodes I to III), released from 1999.
After the saga's creator, George
Lucas, sold Lucasfilm production
 company to Disney in 2012, a
sequel trilogy began with Episode
VII in 2015.
Here, the large ensemble cast was
again led by Mark Hamill, Harrison
Ford, Carrie Fisher, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Alec Guinness, James Earl Jones, Billy Dee Williams, and Frank Oz.
Shown on ITV2 tonight, the film also featured Ian McDiarmid, Denis
Lawson, Dermot Crowley, and another twenty-seven Doctor Who cast
